All Marketing is Local, Easy and Inexpensive

On vacation in San Francisco last week, we stopped at a restraunt called Poggio’s. As we were sitting down at a great table with a great view I mentioned that it was perfect for our anniversary dinner. The hostess asked if was our anniversary and wished us a happy one. She then returned with an anniversary card!
10 cents of paper and 2 minutes of work set a splended tone for our meal! I am pretty sure that the note put me in such a good mood that I ordered an entire bottle of wine when I hadn’t planned on it.
Marketing with care at a local level makes little things into a big thing for the consumer and the business. Thanks Poggio for making our Anniversary special.
